WESTERN POWER / HORIZON POWER WA CONNECTIONS MANUAL (WADCM) ROAD SHOW
NECA in conjunction with Western Power and Horizon Power, will be holding a series of seminars on the new manual starting from mid July and continuing through to October.
It is highly recommended that all licenced electrical contractors attend these seminars in order to better understand the scope, role, content and application of the new manual as it relates to new, upgraded or relocated low and high voltage customer connections within the northwest, regional and southwest distribution networks.
In Western Power Network Areas:
Western Australian Distribution Connections Manual (approx 40 mins) – Presented by Rod Hale.
A high level overview on the scope, role, content and application of the new Horizon Power/Western Power connections manual as it relates to new, upgraded or relocated low and high voltage customer connections within the northwest, regional and southwest distribution networks.
Inspection and Industry issues (approx 20 mins) – Presented by Tony Mancini.
An in depth presentation on the responsibilities of inspectors, electrical contractors and electrical workers with reference to the processes of effective workplace management together with pending new metering arrangements and common installation practices and faults.
The New Electronic Notice System (E-Tic) (approx 20 mins) – Presented by Rod Hale.
Hear about the soon to be released, new version of E-Tic, including its new simplified screens, processes, additional features and user security arrangements. Learn about the staged introduction and application of this new computerised ticketing system.
In Horizon Power Network Areas:
