The Australian Cabler Registration Service (ACRS) was formed to provide Cabler Registration as required by the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

Registration is intended to provide appropriate community and cabling industry safeguards, including the protection of occupational health and safety, the preservation of network integrity and high standards of workmanship.
